Definition:
DTG Printing converts a design file into an embroidery-friendly format. Each embroidery type needs a separate digitized file, which can be reused for future orders of the same type.
Some Important Measures About DTG Printing.
1. Mastering Printing on Garments with Seams, Pockets, and Zippers:
For the best print quality, it’s important to print on a flat surface. While t-shirts pose no problems, more complex garments like hoodies and zip-up jackets can be challenging due to seams and zippers not laying flat, causing inconsistencies in printing. Designs may appear off-center due to the zipper, but this is normal.

Rest assured that we will take all necessary steps to ensure that your graphics are adjusted properly so that they are not printed over seams, pockets, and zippers. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team for assistance. We are here to help you every step of the way!
2. The Importance of Choosing the Right Label for Your Needs:
We understand that you may wish to remove labels or have inside labels printed on your garments, but it’s important to note that not all garments are compatible with these customization options. This is because some labels are designed to be easily removed, while others are sewn into the seams of the garment, making them difficult to remove without damaging the garment or leaving residue behind.

Please note that some garments may not be suitable for label removal or inside label printing, but our team will work with you to find the best possible solution for your needs. We are always here to help you achieve the best results possible.
3. Would you like ribs with your order?
Certain types of garments, such as Racerbacks, Crop Ts, and Onesies, are made with a ribbed texture. While ribbed garments can be form-fitting and provide some extra stretch, they can present challenges when it comes to printing on them.
The issue with ribbed garments is that the ribs are raised, so when the garment is stretched out, the ribs tend to even out with the rest of the fabric.
Our team has experience printing on a variety of fabrics, including ribbed garments, and we will work with you to find the best possible solution for your needs.

4. Revision of Saying “No Garment is Perfect:
Every garment is unique, just like you and me. Unlike other products that are mass-produced by machines, clothing such as shirts, sweaters, and hoodies are sewn together by skilled human hands. This human element can result in slight variations in the size, cut, and sewing of each garment.
We understand how important it is for our customers to receive high-quality garments, which is why we have a satisfaction guarantee. If you receive a garment that you are not completely satisfied with due to rips, holes, or inconsistent seams, please let us know and we will work with you to make it right.
5. The Colors You See Online May Appear Different In Real Life:
Our incredible DTG printing process can achieve amazing results! However, it’s important to keep in mind that the colors you choose for your artwork may appear different on a physical product than what you see on your computer monitor. Even if you have calibrated your monitor to a specific color profile, there are various factors that can influence the final appearance of colors on a printed product. Therefore, we cannot guarantee 100% color accuracy.
When you submit a print file, our printers will convert it from RGB to CMYK color space. This conversion process changes the color gamut or range of colors that can be expressed. It’s important to be cautious when using bright neon and pastel RGB values in your print files, such as hot pinks, lime greens, construction orange, highlighter yellow, Easter egg shades, and so on. You should also consider other factors, such as the fabric material, garment color, and whether your print will require a white under-base layer when choosing colors.
At our company, we strive to provide the highest quality products and services to our customers. If you have any questions or concerns about our DTG printing process or color accuracy, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help!
6. Is it Innie or Outie?
Our label printing services, which are great for marking, are available for both inside and outside labels. But only authorized clothes with label removal capabilities can have inside labels printed on them.
The following only needs to be included in images for inside label prints:
- Size
- Origin of Production,
- Materials knowledge
- Care guidelines (recommended)
For clothing made by Alternative Apparel, this material is optional.
If you plan to print on lighter colored garments, bear the following in mind.
If you use darker hues in your label design, your label will be visible on the reverse side of the garment.

By paying attention to the color combinations used, you can make sure that your name is clearly visible on the product.
